Cloud9 is a North American eSports organisation currently fielding teams in Hearthstone, League of Legends, Smite, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Dota 2, Heroes of the Storm, Halo, CS:GO and Overwatch. C9 first started out as a small League of Legends team, as they qualified for the LCS for the first time, Jack Etienne, the current Owner and General Manager decided to pick the team up and ever since has grown exponentially over the years.

In November 2015, the team got an investment of over $100,000,000 USD from Alisher Usmanov's USM Holdings. Virtus.pro's CS:GO team is based in Poland.

Esta pagina é um guia sobre TickRate para Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

O QUE É TICKRATE?

A palavra RATE, do inglês, significa TAXA. O TICKRATE é a quantidade de vezes por segundo que um servidor faz o calculo de todas as posições (jogadores, tiros, etc) ENVIANDO e RECEBENDO essa informação pros jogadores. Teoricamente, quanto maior a taxa de rate, maiores informações são enviadas e recebidas. Porem, um fator que influencia diretamente nisso é o LINK disponível. Por exemplo: um server pode ter tickrate 100 e um link de apenas 1 GIGA e outro server um tickrate 66 mas ter um link de 4 GIGA, logo este segundo server será mais eficiente que o primeiro.

Fazendo uma comparação é como se fosse o FPS do SERVER, logo quanto maior o TICKRATE mais liso roda o game.

Já fez um strafe e morreu atrás da parede sem ao menos o adversário ter varado a parede?

Ou então, estar telando um companheiro e telar um lindo HS sem ao menos a mira dele estar fixada na cabeça do adversário, isso acontece principalmente quando a lag em um dos jogadores.

Quanto maior o tickrate menor é a incidência desses "bugs", ou seja, jogar em um server com tickrate 128 é muito melhor e mais real do que o de 64, que é o default (padrão) do Match Making do CSGO.

Astralis or Team Astralis is a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team founded in January 2016 by members of "Team Question Mark" after they left Team SoloMid. They have received an investment of several million Danish kroner from Sunstone Capital and the Danish entrepreneur Tommy Ahlers and are incorporating as Astralis ApS. It is a player owned organization, with each player owning a certain percentage of the company. When founding member Rene 'cajunb' Borg transferred to Team Dignitas on May 19, 2016, the team stated that he would keep a small portion of his shares in the company, but would no longer have an active role in day-to-day business. On October 19, 2016 it was announced that Astralis had sold Finn 'Karrigan' Andersen to FaZe Clan and on October 24 it was announced that Lukas 'gla1ve' Rossander had joined Astralis for an undisclosed fee.
